In Leverage, two women defy the balance point of a 2.5 meter long pole. The pole serves as a scale and thus allows the circus performers to defy their physical limits, to define new hierarchies. Climbing, trusting each other and folding under and over each other, the duo is completely absorbed in their relationship. Meanwhile, the pier and abyss below them are surrounded by the ever-looming danger of increasingly wild swirling water.
